So you have found the vehicle you want, you faxed back your accepted quotation, what happens now?

1. We will ask you to complete our finance application form (click the relevant link below to download as a PDF) and send back to us. We will then arrange your finance with the appropriate lender. This will involve a credit search on the details you provide us. This is undertaken by the finance company directly and any queries over the result of the search results will have to be directed to them directly. We will disclose the name of the finance company if it is not ourselves to you prior to your credit search. If you have a problem with your credit you can use the link to Experian on the home page of our site and obtain a copy of your credit report directly. You personal information is held by us lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

2. On receiving approval for your credit we will then ask you to sign an order form for your chosen vehicle. At this point we may ask you for a deposit to secure your vehicle on your behalf. This is only a holding deposit and will be refunded to you prior to delivery of your vehicle or you can choose to put this deposit towards your actual finance deposit or the cost of your car when you are ready for delivery. If you decide to cancel your order then we retain the right to keep your deposit as a cancellation fee.

If you cancel your order with us after signing a vehicle order form and completion of your finance documents and where we have secured a car and prepared that car for delivery on your behalf, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £500.

3. We will now order your car and depending on whether it is a stock vehicle or factory order we will advise you on an estimated delivery date to you. The delivery is free of charge on mainland UK to your door. There is an additional charge if you require a covered transporter delivery or any special request.

4. About 1-4 weeks prior to your delivery we will send you the finance agreements to sign or ask you to pay the remaining amount due on your car. For a finance deal we will also require an original copy of your driving licence and a current utility bill dated within the last 3 months. There may be occasions when a finance company will require additional proofs which we will inform you of as and when this happens. We will also require your intial rental cheque or deposit to send off with your completed finance documentation.

If you are paying the remainder of your balance on your vehicle purchase we accept the following payments:

• American Express: 3% handling charge on all amounts.
• VISA & Mastercard: 1.3% handling charge on amounts over £1,000.
• Switch/Maestro: No charge
• Cheque: Must give 5 working days to clear.
• Bankers Draft: No charge. 
• Bank Transfer: No charge. Check with your bank on how many days you will need for the money to show through to our account.

5. When we have received your documents back or your balance then we will confirm your delivery. We will offer you an AM or PM delivery slot.

6. Your car arrives fully valeted, £20 fuel on board, a Brocars plc drivers pack and with a Pre Delivery Inspection having been done. You check over your car, sign the delivery sheet, take the keys and enjoy!
